What’s on in August.

 

Peasenhall Picture Palace Friday 1st August

The next Film Club we will be showing is ‘Bridget Jones. Mad about the boy’.

What happens after the happy ending? Sadly, our Bridget knows all too well that life doesn’t always go to plan. Now in her 50s, she’s navigating life as a single mum after the death of her beloved husband Mark Darcy. Her friends are pushing her to ‘get back out there’ but can she juggle motherhood, a new career and jumping into the confusing world of modern dating? Is love even still possible? In this final chapter of her story, Bridget reminds us there’s always beauty in the chaos.

Doors open at 7pm Bar and raffle.

Craft Club is held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month so will be on the 4th and 18th of August 2-4pm If you are interested in knitting, crochet, any type of needlework, crafts, painting or drawing, why not come along and join us. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided with plenty of friendly chat. No need to book. £3 per session. If you have any queries, please email Jane – theassemblyhall19@gmail.com

Clubbercise is held every Tuesday at 6-7pm. 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th August

Pop up Café Weds is the first Wednesday of the month – 6th  August 10am – 12pm. This is hosted by the wonderful Weavers Team of Sara and Beth. There will be tea, coffee and cake along with lots of chat and a very warm welcome.

Il Quartetto Familia,  Sunday August 24th at 7pm

Pop -up Pub Friday 2th August 7-11pm

Come along for a drink and chat with friends. There will be games available (cards, scrabble, Bananagrams, dominoes etc). Licensed bar.
